The food was great, especially the delicious breakfast. the beds in our classic double room were very comfy. - the location is amazing and stunning, close to the old downtown, city center, attractions, the castle, lots of bars. - Next door to a historic fortress and only 300 meters from Royal Mile.

Excellent and brilliant hotel, staff always accommodating. Breakfast with fresh fruit. Really lovely overall experience.

Loved Edinburgh, the hotel was stylish and brilliant in the old town. My classic double room and bed were comfy. The service was terrific in my opinion. The venue offered a coffee machine in the lobby. The staff was accommodating and the location was unbeatable - altogether a lovely experience.

Ensure you book the classic double room with garden views for a delightful stay.

There was a mouse in my room and i have never experienced this in all my years of staying in hotels, i have stayed in many hotels over the years all over Europe!. I don't know the reason for this 'visitor', and the manager on duty in the evening handled it very well, but I was quite shaken by this and had to leave my room in my pyjamas and quickly gather my things to move to another room, I expected the staff when checking out to apologise but not, and there was nothing taken off the bill until I insisted (I can only guess they had not been briefed, ie it was not dealt with as a complaint), and there were no comments regarding what had been done to rectify the problem - I mean, there were no attempts to try to tempt me back to this hotel..

Lyft broken, no fans or air conditioner in room, did not service the room with towels or toilet paper. Never took out the trash entire 6 days.

Excellent hotel, great room, with the most comfortable bed, great balance in the style between period features and modern equipment. Prime location next to the cathedral, and 5 minutes from the castle. Highly recommended.

room was spacious and comfortable, ideally located just off royal mile, close to the various attractions but not affected by noise at night.

This was my very good stay for a short vacation. I greatly enjoyed the hotel; it was fairly large and perfectly clean. - Location was excellent to shops that sold snack food. - the staff was attentive and always on disposal. - Nice hot and cheap American breakfast with great healthy options. - All the food was outstanding.

The location was excellent and we were able to walk to shops and restaurants easily. The room and view were amazing. I did not expect the great decor and comfort of the room. The view out of the large windows was special. We would recommend Fraser Suites to anyone travelling to Edinburgh.

The room was neat and tidy and the staff was very helpful. The room was great for the price we paid and if we ever come to scotland again we will stay there no doubt. We enjoyed our stay and the hotel was close to everything that we wanted to see.
